I had the pleasure of being in the class that Alex Hodara conducted at The Century 21 Leadership Conference in October. The class was on recruiting the Generation X and Generation Y candidates Much of this session was centered on Social Networking, the emphasis being on the fact that brokers, managers, and recruiters need to be where these younger candidates are, and they are found on the social networking sites.
Alex is obviously both brilliant and enterprising. It inspired me that he is able to carry a full load of college courses, be a broker/owner of a real estate company, and find the time to demonstrate his knowledge of recruiting using social networking to others.
Several days after the conference was over, I was stumped on how to implement a couple of the ideas he gave us. I emailed him twice and each time, he promptly responded to my questions. I appreciated him taking the time to do that because he had fulfilled his duties to Century 21 at our conference several days prior, and I felt his willingness to help me showed how conscientious he is.
